• State Store Privatization Plans in Pennsylvania

This week on Feedback the phone lines were open to get your reaction to Governor Tom Corbett’s plan to privatize the state liquor stores and change the way residents of the Commonwealth purchase their wine and spirits. Under the Governor’s plan state liquor stores would be sold over a three to four year period, there would be 1,200 retail outlets almost double the current number of state stores, and consumers could buy beer and wine where they shop for groceries; buy six-packs of beer at distributors instead of having to buy entire cases; and buy six-packs of beer at convenience stores.

    What do you think?
