    The Phila. Phillies ended a second-straight disappointing season Sunday, losing at Atlanta 12-5. The Phillies finished 73-89, 4th in the N.L. East. As a team, the Phillies finished 10th of 15 in the NL in Team Batting Average (.248), 13th in Runs Scored, 9th in Home Runs, and 14th out of 15 in Team ERA (4.32). The Phillies were shut out roughly once in every five losses.

    At this point, Roy Halladay and Carlos Ruiz are their only free agents; they have 10 players eligible for salary arbitration, including pitchers Kyle Kendrick, John Lannan and Antonio Bastardo, infielder Kevin Frandsen, and outfielders Ben Revere and John Mayberry, Jr.
