• Menet and the Muhls

Michal Menet may only be in 10th grade, but he’s getting a lot of interest from colleges.  Menet starts at left tackle and defensive tackle for Exeter.  The 6’4, 255-pound sophomore already has offers from Penn State, Rutgers, and Temple.  Michal’s father, Brian (a former standout athlete at Central Catholic), said they’ve also been contacted by several major D1 schools including Notre Dame.  Michal’s brother, Christian, is at Eastern Michigan.  Unfortunately, his playing career is over due to a neck injury.

Michal Menet has 25 tackles and 4 sacks through 4 games.  The Eagles will try to improve to (5-0) tonight at Gov. Mifflin.  A Penn State assistant coach will be in attendance to watch Menet.  You can hear the game on WEEU and weeu.com!  Our live coverage begins at 6:40pm.

Muhlenberg is also off to a (4-0) start.  The Muhls will have to overcome some serious injuries as they get into the meat of their schedule.  6’2 senior Ethan Himmelberger, a starting WR/DB, suffered a fractured fibula at Twin Valley last Friday.  The Muhls are also without Diego Rodriguez, a senior defensive lineman, and emerging sophomore Joaby McMinn.
