• Lack of Depth at Mifflin?

There has been some talk around Berks County that depth is a serious concern for Governor Mifflin’s football team.  However, if you compare this year’s roster to last year’s roster, that’s simply not the case.

In 2012, the Mustangs had 59 players on their roster including 36 upperclassmen.  They went 10-3 and reached the District 3 semifinals.  This year there are 55 players on Mifflin’s roster including 34 upperclassmen.

The Mustangs return seven starters on defense and one of the best quarterbacks in Berks County in junior Jan Johnson.  They also bring back some HUGE linemen.  Garrett Henry (6’2, 270), Connor Morehart (6’4, 290) , Keith Miller (6’4, 310), and Jared Gill (6’3, 360) will be in the trenches for Mifflin.
