• As Education Goes ….So Goes The Economy

Parents and Policy Makers are concerned about deficiencies of U.S. public schools, are your concerned?  This book suggests that in this globalized world all Americans should pay attention to the state of education.   Americans trail adults in other countries in math, literacy, problem-solving yet we must compete  with talent, markets, and opportunity from all around the world.  Paul Peterson, the Henry Lee Shattuck Professor of Government in the Department of Government at Harvard University, and co-author of “Endangering Prosperity”, a recent book on education and international competitiveness,  took time to share conversation with Jo about the largely disappointing picture of the American Adult and American school performance compared against that of other nations. Paul Peterson says “Our younger population should be doing better than our older population. The older population is better educated. And the younger population is entering the workforce.”
