    Straight Talk – December 17, 2014

Click here for this week’s Straight Talk with Nick Lawrence

A Star For Mrs. Blake, by  novelist, and Emmy-nominated television writer and producer, April Smith, is a heart-warming, and heart-rending portrayal of the lives of five courageous women in the post WWI era. These very different women, create a bond with each other, on an emotional, shared  journey, as they travel to the cemeteries, where their deceased soldier sons were buried overseas, following the end of World War I. This moving story is a lesson for the ages, about the loss of having a voice, when it comes to the choices, that our kids make for themselves. Anyone who has lost a loved-one in war, or who has a loved-one in the military, will relate to this powerful story.
